An exclusive hand painted porcelain range inspired by France’s fashion houses is to debut at The Chocolate Café in Ramsbottom this week – making the café and chocolate shop the UK’s only retailer of Soizick porcelain, beyond Harrod’s in London. Designed in Cagnes-sur-mer on the French Riviera, the glamorous range of cups & saucers, teapots, salt & pepper pots and teabag holders is inspired by the fabrics and fashions of haute couture.
Owners of the Chocolate Café, Paul Morris and wife Emma, lived in France for two years and opened the café and chocolate shop in May after selling their property management firm on the French Riviera. Paul, a trained baker, decided to introduce a wide range of quality chocolate, coffee and speciality teas to Ramsbottom after being inspired by French café culture.
Says Paul: “Ramsbottom is gaining real recognition as a great place to come for fine food and drink – as well as for gifts and exclusive items for the home. By introducing the beautiful Soizick porcelain range, Christmas shoppers will have even more choice in the town when searching for unique gifts.”
